The Humdrum Express is the musical vehicle for Kidderminster based singer/songwriter 
Ian Passey.

Up-tempo exasperation, poetic put-downs and bitter-sweet tales of delusion.

He's released three full albums (All Aboard, Little Victories and Elevation Of Trivia) and countless EPs. Previously fronted two (semi) popular Worcestershire bands, Jackpot and Swagger.

Live work has included gigs with Half Man Half Biscuit, John Cooper Clarke, The Wedding Present, Evan Dando, Bob Mould, The Wombats, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Chumbawamba, I Ludicrous, 
Vic Godard & The Subway Sect, Mike Peters, Chas Hodges and Steven Duffy.
